I've been treating my sciatica with ice and it has helped tremendously. The giant size Therma-Kool cold pack has been invaluable. It covers both my lower back and my piriformis muscle. It delivers the cold well and for as long as I need it since there isn't a thick cover on it and the gel inside can be manipulated to be very comfortable.  I bought a couple of backups to have chilling in the freezer. I ice my back several times a day because my yoga practice aggravates the situation. I highly recommend the Therma-Kool cool pack especially in the giant size.

Decent product, but you can't store it in the freezer without it freezing into an ice cube.  I have to nuke it in the microwave to thaw it in able to use it.  Good size as far as dimensions, but it's thin.

SELLER RESPONSE: Thank you for your feedback. Since there is so much gel in these larger size packs, if you have a freezer that runs lower than standard temperature, the gel will get harder than the smaller packs. We recommend that you let it sit out for 15 minutes before use and the gel will go back to pliable and conforming.
