I bought these for the USPS medium flat rate boxes. They are a little big, but once you get used to them, they fit right in. The envelopes themselves give great protection from the heat and does have very thick insulation.

I bought a side of beef last summer and told all my nieces and nephews they were getting meat for Christmas. They all said they'd love that, but I had to be able to get the meat to our family celebration and they had to get it home. These insulated mailers did the trick. They are pretty big, so I was able to put blade roasts in them. The meat stayed frozen for the several hours (7 or 8) that it was packed in these mailers between my freezer and their freezers.
The price was very reasonable for the use I had.
