When my sons had their wisdom teeth pulled, they were given these cold packs to take home to reduce swelling and for pain relief.  I loved the size of the packs and that they stayed pliable when frozen.  I used the old packs for many years.  Eventually they either disappeared or wore out.  I ordered new packs and keep several in the freezer for minor aches, pains, and injuries.
